What would I have missed if I would have said no to this trip?

During our four month debrief our squad leader asked us this question and I thought it would be fun to answer it in a blog post

The things I would have missed if I would have said no the the Race.

I would have missed this beautiful squad God has placed me on

I would have missed the true understanding of love has no language barrier

I would have missed how a smile and a hug goes a long way

I would have missed what true teamwork looks like

I would have missed the smiles of the Children

I would have missed what unconditional love looks like

I would have missed what it looks like to choose in to people

I would have missed out on a lot of growth

I would have missed out on the outburst of laughter

I would have missed out on the remind dancing

I would have missed out on different cultures

I would have missed out on so many new friendships

I would have missed out on learning different languages

I would have missed out on what it means to carry your cross daily

I would have missed out on sharing my testimony

I would have missed out on great food

I would have missed out on sleeping in a tent for a month

I would have missed out on buying turtle for two girls I love dearly

I would have missed out on the beautiful sunrise and sunset in different countries

I would have missed out on much needed conversations

I would have missed on on finding the importance of my voice

I would have missed out on hearing all of the redemption stories

I would have missed on being able to experience God in a different way

Most importantly I would have missed out on what God has called me to do(Mat 28: 17-20)

Their are so many other things I would have missed out on but these are a few that came to mind. I am very thankful that Jesus called my on the World Race, it has been extremely nice being able to reflect on the past four months.

We had a route change so instead  of going to Columbia, Ecuador and Peru. We are now in Europe, the first place in Europe is Albania. We will spend the next four months in Europe and our plan is to still go to Africa after.

If I can be praying for you in anyway please email or message  me.

The World Race isn’t a season of life, it‘s the kingdom of God at Hand- Hannah
